Strange watching this, having to remind myself we are in the same League as these...
26 wins and still not promoted :? ..

Funniest thing yet from MK fans " is this a library" ... the only time they made a noise last week was when they scored and at the final whistle!

MK stats are 2nd in the League, whereas Wycombe are 20th+, very different styles

I’m getting sick of Sky’s over hyping of these two “great” sides who are stuck and condemned to league 1. They are in league 1 because that is their level right now. Good crowds to be fair

Last weekend Sunderland played us in front of over 5600....last night v Sheffield Wednesday they faced a home crowd of just short of 45000 and for the return leg it is suggested that they will face a Sheffield home crowd of 40000......unbelievable and illustrated the financial power of both clubs who we could face next season.

Just another example of how we have to do battle with limited finances but what an achievement by our BoD, Managerial team and players to be even competing in the same league.

:o :o :o

Div 1 is going to be a hell of a difficult League next season. MK Dons out footballed Wycombe for virtually the whole second leg. By far the better team but it just wasn’t their day.

I guess we are going to be scrapping in the mini league at the wrong end but once again just staying in the league would be a massive achievement yet again.

Watched Sheff Wed versus Sunderland last night awful football between two BIG clubs, Final with Sunderland and Wycombe has the potential to be a bore fest.

Thought MK Dons were great against us this season couple of their passing moves at the Reebok I applauded and almost cheered a couple attacks. First game of the season 3-3 at our place, couple of poor keeping errors by our oldie, but still they deserved something from the game.
They stuffed us 2-0 at theirs in February when we had restarted our season in good form, and could have been more.

The shame of it is they will probably have to break the team up now. They were good to watch and would have had a fair go at the Championship.

I'm actually gutted - surely the best option for us was for MKDonalds to be promoted? Who wants to go to Milton Keynes period, let alone for Football?!?

Noticed that MK refer to their home end as the 'cowshed', as though its potentially a historical descendent from a ramshackle terrace with a corrugated tin roof.... rather than a shinny palace to house people that were unjustly handed somebody elses club by somebody that clearly played too much championship manager. You stay classy!

Nice stadium, though.

They could with their money easily have done the right thing and started a club from scratch and moved up the divisions to be where they are now. How do they call themselves "Dons" though !
