Excellent news. Ben has improved the connection between club and fans beyond all expectations and has overseen the average attendances increase to 4,333.

The club is also advertising for an HR manager.

They are really improving the infrastructure of the club and getting rid of the "Little Morecambe" tag.

All in favour of bringing expertize in in certain areas BUT hopefully not at the exclusion of getting more quality on the field.

A well deserved promotion for Ben who has overseen a vast improvement off the field BUT the journey of where we all want our club to be is far from over..we have to constantly strive to get better and this is an on going project that sees no bounds.

Ben and the Commercial team have done a great job increasing our average gate from about 2,000 to 4,333.

Next season they are aiming at an average gate of 5,000 with 3,000 season ticket holders. It's those sort of figures that enable Derek to put more quality on the field.

It seems a long time ago that PMG was hoping for gates of 2,400 ! His thoughts on what is happening at The Mazuma would be interesting.
