Needless to say this may not be completely accurate.

Connolly... June 23
Fane ... June 23
DaSilvaMendes ... June 23
Love.. June 24
Melbourne... June 24

The following have another year and are available for transfer:
McDonald

OConnor
Cooney
Obika
Duffus
Pye
McLaughlin

Arthur and Adam Smith (signed) have been offered extensions

Until we get news one way or the other about Cole the Goal I'll be concerned about him still being a Shrimp.
IF he decides to go to pastures new then I wish him all the best BUT DA will then have to find a suitable replacement which could prove very difficult and most certainly would not be a like for like replacment I would suggest.
Worrying times to say the least with pre season training starting this week.

Assuming the best case scenario in Smith and Gnahoua signing their contracts and Stockton staying, we probably need another 11-13 players dependent on how offloading transfer listed players goes.
Busy week ahead of pre-season training starting I think!

To date the only confirmed departure has been Ayunga who I'm personally sorry to see move on.
Of the others I find it hard to think of any other EFL1 club taking one or more of them. Possibly EFL2 and more likely the National League BUT I suspect their current deals would have to be resolved before any movement elsewhere and I suspect that being on 2 year deals will be a problem.

Yes, I think the Irishman has very much stuffed the Scotsman, Derek would have much preferred a clean slate bar a few no doubt

Of those up for transfer I'd like to think that in the end we have to keep hold of Delaney, Cooney, Obika and McLoughlin with youngster Pye as one for the future.
Delaney for me suffered because he partnered O'Connor but given the new lad as a new partner maybe Delaney who was quite good at Bolton deserves a new opportunity.
Obika for me was a rare starter but when he did come on looked quite a handful and was the victim of an prolonged injury.
As for a goalkeeper assuming that Smith signs on the dotted line we don't need to look elsewhere as we have a replacement already in the wings so why spend another wage on a 'keeper when there are more pressing cases for replacements in other areas of the squad.

AOC definitely not the problem - made the odd mistake but was our only properly competent CB for half a season. We improved massively as a team once we got Bedeau in as a partner for him and Carson in goal. Scunthorpe's defence didn't exactly improve with the addition of Delaney.
I'd be fine with AOC staying, could probably do a job relatively well as a CDM in DA's system too, but he's probably one of the higher earners in the squad and financially I can totally get why DA would rather use that kind of wage towards someone who'd be a more key player for him.

AOC can play as the right sided CB in a three as well as covering at RB if needed. I would say it is a wage budget issue rather than DA not rating him.

DA got rid of him at Bratford so can see the same hopefully happening now. He didn't feature much under DA even when he came back from injury.
Everybody has their own opinions about certain players and O'Connor is the one for me who is surplus to requirements.

He was reportedly one of the top earners at Bradford which might explain why DA released him.

That dodgy ‘EFL Transfers’ twitter account is now reporting that a proposed move to Rotherham for Cole Stockton has fallen through, and he’s agreed to stay - with a contract extension due to be announced tomorrow.
Quite possibly a load of rubbish but one we’d all like to believe!

Maybe Judas could come in for some of the transfer listed players.

I really don't understand why we let Bennett go thought he would have been ideal for Derek.
There are a couple of players on that list that are unlucky to be on it especially, I wonder what happens if they don't move on to that must be a bit awkward going into next season knowing the manager transfer listed you.

We are a bit screwed with the contracted players. Best hope is someone agrees to take them on and we settle on paying up some of the remaining contract. Then we get some budget back and they get a chance of more football. I'd be surprised if we manage to move half of them, so hopefully then the player and manager can find a way to work with each other .

Of the transfer listed players I'm not really sure how many we might be able to realistically shift.
Can't see anyone being interested in McDonald, Delaney or Duffus. O'Connor and Obika probably on pretty high wages so that might put a few off.
I think we'll probably end up keeping one of the right backs and moving the other on. Arguments could be made for Cooney or McLaughlin. McLoughlin also a useful enough squad player I can see ultimately staying.
Surprised Pye has been listed for transfer, only signed a professional deal in January, Derek must not see much potential in him.

Derek needs people to make an impact now, not in a year or two's time and every one moved out is a wage saved to cover Cole's increase when he signs the extension!!!!

While Robinson was clearly a b******tter, who talked a talk, never intending to walk the walk, one of the things I liked about him at the time, was saying we were going to develop as a club, by developing players, then moving some of them on to better things. To me, that still should be a key part of our business model. But, Derek's approach appears to be very much '
here & now' rather than investing in development. I'm not sure how that will play out in the longer term?

I’m with DA on that, and i’m pretty sure John Coleman at Accrington Stanley is the same, i dont think they bother with youth set up’s or reserve teams .

I agree that Derek probably isn't into youth development but look how he developed Carlos who we then sold and also look how much Cole has come on since Derek came in. I think he gets that we need to sell players on but is only interested in developing first team players who can do a job now.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see a different Arthur next season and he comes on leaps and bounds.

Let's not forget that we stayed in League one with a great deal of assistance from 2 or 3 loan players and that may be required again. Nothing wrong with that so long as we get the right ones.

With this good news I wonder if D.A. will just stick with the two familiar keepers, or go shopping for a third.

I wonder what Adam Phillips is doing for next season, although still under contract to Burnley he isn't listed in any squads on their website (unlike Bedeau who is in their U-23s)

Back in training with Burnley at the moment it seems.
New manager there means there's probably a bit of a window for both him and Bedeau to make an impression. Think Bedeau's probably a bit closer to being able to make an impact, especially given that Burnley are losing Tarkowski and Mee.
