Anyone interested we have been placed in a group alongside Harrogate and Hartlepool

The premier League u21 team will be announced on Thursday at 14.30

Interesting draw, especially as we haven’t drawn any of our near north west neighbours - I would have expected a Fleetwood, a Barrow, Accrington etc.

Strange that we get "placed" in a group rather than a random draw. Seems like a group we should be able to get out of though but not sure how serious Derek will take it.

The Hartlepool tie will see a reunion with our former goalkeeper and Wembley winner Kyle Letheren who has joined them as Player/Coach.

Wonder if his wife will be in the crowd giving it plenty of vocals... :lol:

We have drawn Everton as the U21 opponent.

We played them a couple of years ago, they will bring a crowd.
