New Roof
Posted: Mon Aug 01, 2022 9:42 amReally don't want to be negative, as I really appreciated the cover on Saturday. But there are a few issues caused by the new roof.
Only covering the middle 3rd of the stand has caused everyone, when it rains, to try and get under the roof. This made it difficult to que for food and drink, could the mobile units be moved further away to help with this? Or have the que the other way round?
Also there are a few leaks already and the back wall was soaking wet. This might be an issue if the legends wall is moved there.
A positive improvement to the rear of the stand but with a few sortable issues.
Couple the Trust look at raising funds again to extend the roof at some point in the future to help spread the crowd out over the full length of the stand?
