Last night in his interview having a go at us for not taking many fans to the game

My thoughts were almost 800 away from home on a Tuesday night was great effort

What a bellend this guy really is

Probably won't get too many bigger away crowds on a Tuesday

He does seem to have a problem with Morecambe, not sure why he was at Blackpool for a while. We do not hold that against him.
Looking at our mid week fixtures at home we have some that will bring a few more and some around the same. To be fair we have a number of fans who travel whatever the day and not just the planks who tend only to go to local games and this may have a impact on how he views the World.
But then again we have been in the leagues a very long time.

I listened to the interview and thought the comment was unnecessary and perhaps click bait as he always wants a reaction.

Evatt managed Barrow who are one of our historical traditional rivals although he had left them by the time we played them in League 2. He does seem to hate us for some reason !

What a strange person he is. Having a quick scroll through the replies on Twitter, it seems basically everybody else in the league thinks so too. Seems deluded that he's some great wind-up merchant stringing other clubs along etc, when in reality he's just making a bit of a tit of himself.

Yes, he's an odd character who enjoys winding up opposition fans. No doubt thinks it works for him and he will be expecting a hard time from us when next at the Mazuma. Probably best ignored IMO.

Probably goes back from his chesterfield days when they were 3-0 up and lost 4-3. Really is pathetic how he continues with this grudge. His tactics cheat play dirty and play head games. Just glad that we have a manager and team of players that aren’t that way inclined like some of them.

Good manager, has turned around a club and fans who have been used to playing in a more robust manner to a team that get the ball on the deck and try to play football.

As fans we only really have a rivalry with Manu and that stems back to the way the team were treated on the return trip following the 58 cup final (granted they barely accept that we exist) we do not want anymore or care to any extent about other clubs around us. Oh and Barry Knight.

When he works with the players they all buy into his philosophy and he undoubtedly improves players, I just wish he would not always have to wind teams up, but you rarely get platitudes from him.
From what I have seen and how he conducts himself in the board room he is going to be looked at by bigger clubs and if our momentum does not match his ambition then he will follow his goal somewhere else.

Best just to ignore it, generally 90% of it is click bait for the journalists.

Not sure when Bolton play Accrington , Fleetwood etc but it will be interesting to see if he comments on their fan numbers which even on a Saturday they will not likely be as many as Morecambe took last Tuesday.
