Nationally recognised, award-winning, 'Best Pies in Football' served at Morecambe.
Nationally recognised, 'cooked on a radiator' worst food in football' served at Lancaster.

If you are going to a game at Giant Axe, don't forget to have your Hepatitis injections first!

Nothing to see here,.. I have been to Giant Axe a few times and the food is actually one of the best at that level and better than Morecambe’s, more choice etc.

I was at the game on Bank Holiday Monday in August against Atherton Collieries and the usual catering outlet was closed and they had a burger van on instead which was good, albeit, a touch pricey.

I think the food at Morecambe is I overrated, the pies are very good but there’s not much more choice other than that than a load of sweets and chocolate.

As much as it’s funny that it’s not the Shrimps who subject to being ridiculed nationally via social channels, for a change/this week, this is a type of German sausage/bratwurst. I know it looks odd/uncooked to the general football fan because it doesn’t appear to have come from a tin or bathed in brine - but I bet it’s actually pretty decent! I think Kanteena (hipster type public venue in Lancaster) do the catering at Giant Axe, so it’s going to be pretty niche stuff compared with your usually footy fayre.

Doesn't stop the "cooked on a radiator" comment being funny! I did assume it was a bratwurst.
