In the 'Cambridge match day thread', I. passed on info about that game's referee, that had been sent to me...

"Referees are appointed by the PGMOL (Professional Game Match Officials Ltd) who also select the match observers. Their section of the ELF website gives a lot of info about what goes on, training, etc. and is necessary viewing for any serious football supporter".
