Positives (so far this season)

Yes we are bottom of the division but can we take any positives from the season so far ....

Still in all three cup competitions

Taylor, Weir and Shaw look like they could be a decent looking midfield (but still very young)

Rawson looks quite solid especially in the air

Phillips as potential but very raw

Gibson as been his normal 7/10 every week

Crowds have held up well / next 4 home games should be 4000+ with strong away followings

If the rumour going about yesterday regarding new ownership is true, that could be a massive positive.

The main positive for me is that we are still a L1 side, people forget how massive that is.

The thing is they are just rumours ...

Lets hope it`s not another Diego Lemos situation and whoever buys the club are decent people

We will be a football league club at the end of this season whatever league we are in so certainly a nice prospect for someone to buy

I don't know what the rumours were but if we are sold it will have to be to someone who can improve the club both infrastructurally and the playing budget.

Yes, preferably but just someone who can keep us afloat and give us a chance of staying in the League will do for me :)

As we have found out more than once, you don't need to have any money at all to buy a football club.

Burton are just one team, we need 4 worse than us and teams like Accington, Cambridge, Exeter, Fleetwood and Cheltenham that we should be competing with are pulling away.
Games in hand are useless when you can't win a game at home for 6 months.

Sorry no positives from me other than we are not Worcester Warriors and being on the top of the prediction league

Until the ownership issue is resolved it is difficult to see us climbing out of trouble.

It must be in the 2 owners best interests to sell the club as soon as possible so lets hope for news soon and preferably we don't want a Berlingo taxi bringing any "owners" to the Mazuma.

Top of the prediction league? That will soon change when we start winning. ;)

Tough one this.

OK.

Delaney big improvement on last season.

Last 32 of League Cup. If we could somehow get through the next game then it's hard to see us not getting a big club in the last 16.

Our illustrious owners appear to have created an absolute shit storm at Worcester Warriors. In no way is that a positive, but now they are under the microscope they may not be so hasty in trying any jiggery- pokery with us. We wait with baited breath.

Hell of a midfield three in Shaw, Taylor and Weir. Good set of centre backs in Rawson, Bedeau and the new and improved Delaney. Phillips is looking to be a great signing. When everyone's fit, we've got a very good set of attacking midfield options in Hunter, Watts, Gnahoua and Connolly who all bring something a bit different.

Aside from the Stockton situation, the big issue has been injuries. Melbourne injury limits our left side options. Hunter injured for a long while is a massive attacking blow. Then just as it looks like we're sorting things out with Shaw completing our midfield and Watts stepping up in place of Hunter, Watts gets injured leaving us with only two wingers and an understandable reluctance to play with a back four. Then Shaw injured (hopefully just a little one) for Accrington and now Taylor too. Can't catch a break.

At full strength, this is a decent squad that should give us a reasonable chance of staying up. But in its current state with injuries, it's very tough.
