Fantastic for football fans and the best ***** *** I've ever seen and probably will ever see. Credit to ***** few of my friends were there working on the event and contrary to reports they were made to feel extremely welcome and said it was a very hospitable place and they'll be going back.

It was a festival of football but will be forever remembered for the one man boycott and the censorship of Shrimpsvoices. It never recovered and I hope FIFA and Qatar have learnt their lessons!

A festival of slavery & abuse. Hopefully there will be a breakaway from the corruption of FIFA, and it will be remembered as the beginning of the end. I couldn't give a toss what you think in the same way as Qatar & FIFA couldn't give a toss what I think.

Maybe a good time to move on and concentrate on our clubs survival in EFL1 which is of more importance to us ALL in my opinion.....not that that matters.... :(

I think it will probably be remembered as one of the best world cups ever. African team going further than any had gone before, Saudi Arabia beating Argentina, hat trick in the final ends up on the losing team and the greatest player the world's ever seen lifting the trophy on his last appearance at a world cup.

Never agreed with the censorship on here but Keith was 100 per cent right to boycott this awful world cup. It was rotten from the moment FIFA took its first bung and basically ensured a brutal and unaccountable regime got away with killing thousands in the name of its vanity project. The football was always going to be top draw. But at what price? Not sure I can reingage now with elite football now
