Left the club (probably the first of a few who will leave in the January window)

John Coleman said earlier that he had already signed someone (wonder if it could be Oz)

I thought it was said he was going back abroad to play. Accrington are in big trouble !

What kind of trouble, league position, financial, or legal ?

Their team looks very sub standard. The chairman has fallen out with the local council and he is threatening to walk away from the club.

JC will turn it around for them. He always does. He said he is after 3-4 players in January.

Although I hope I am wrong and they carry on snowballing to the bottom. :D

Be a big struggle this year I think. They lost Sykes, Butcher and Bishop last summer which is one hell of a gutting - key players from defence, midfield and attack. Nottingham has been out all season, no idea when he's due back, another pretty key player at the back. Now Pritchard's out for the season too, who I thought was comfortably their best attacking threat the other night. Going to need to be a hell of a job for them this January!

Would be surprised if Fane ended up there, not sure he's what they'd need and it sounds like he's back off to Malaysia anyway.

One out one in. I wonder if this leaves the door open for D.A. to sign either Weir or Watts on a permanent contract.

Their clubs might want a fee!

Personally think we'd be lucky just to keep them in on loan, wouldn't be that shocked if one if not both could finish the season in the championship.

I doubt we can get any of these on a permanent contract, both highly rated at their parent clubs. Weir was highly rated at Wigan before Brighton paid 500k for him, he's to good for this league, he could easily play in the Championship, as could Shaw.

Watts also has the potential to play much higher.

All 3 are a joy to watch.

Agreed. Signing any of them permanently is beyond us - I can only hope we get to keep them until the end of the season (then if they all leave at the end of the season and we have to rebuild our midfield we’ll have a real challenge in replacing them, but that’s a problem for later!)
