Looks like an attacking formation. A really tough game, but at least it looks like we're going to give it a go. I hope we line up like this on Tuesday, even if it doesn't work today.

Any news on Mellon's injury?

Cheating Horwich, at it right from the start. One of their lads falls over, looks to the ref, nothing given so miraculously recovers, jumps up and sprints off!

Bright opening from us.

Rawson very close with a header, just over the bar. Bright start.

Playing really well. No shots on target, but both Stockton & Hunter have gone close. Some nice football.

Lots of good performances out there in the first half. Only one shot on target in the game so far, well saved by Ripley, but we've created a few half-chances. Gibson & Rawson probably the stand out players. Not convinced by Melbourne, who gave the ball away too cheaply on a few occasions. I'd like to see Mayor on for him soon in the second half. A good half.

A good half for us, we created some good chances. Noticeable how every time the ball goes forward for Stockton, the defenders arms are all over him, but nothing given.
We must keep tight defensively second half, we have let them run at us a couple of times and they look dangerous. COME ON YOU MORECAMBE REDS.

Fantastic match so far, very nervy. So far both half's have started with Bolton really pressed hard but it seems like once we weather that the game gets a bit more even, if not more in our favour.

Really hope we can get something from this.

Bolton on top in the first ten minutes of second half, but we had a really good break.

Bolton player holding his face despite nothing going anywhere near his head.   Fortunately ref had none of it.

It's certainly getting tasty! Ref doing a decent job, without booking anyone... ...yet!

It's boiling up now, some scrappy tackles going in from both sides. We've got to keep our cool and try and hit them on the break. They've had us pegged back in our own half for most of this half.

That's changed now, Shaw yellow. Initially, I thought it was a superb tackle, but I watched it back. It was indeed a great tackle... ...but the tug on the shirt a few moments earlier was the foul!

Some great play leading to Weir having a great shot, saved.

For a 0-0, it's a cracking game!!!

Come on Morecambe, hang on in there. Maybe changes needed up front. Rawson going off due to injury.
Replaced by Simeu.

Well played Morecambe. Great result. We had our chances up front and defended brilliantly. Rawson with some great defensive headers. A vital point in the fight for survival.

Looking at the number of stewards behind the away bench it's obvious that they were prepared for any possible antics by Evatt or his players. Hopefully there won't be any trouble outside the ground.
Listening to the away commentary, they seemed to think that Bolton had a divine right to win.
Well played Morecambe.

Yep thought the ref had a decent game didn’t put up with all the play acting by the trotters
Made a couple of strange decisions but tried to keep the game flowing and unlike a lot of refs he didn’t let the players ref the match

The Bolton lad on loan from Man U, was subbed in the end, Shoretire, obscene amount of money for a loan player, our weekly starting eleven are paid what he gets roughly, and Bolton are apparently paying it all!!
Just goes to show, he was a bit lightweight.
Today, Crowley showed his class with some nice cross wing passes, Hunter worked his socks off, Faz was immense, as were Love, Bedeau and Gibbo at the back. Weir blossomed and made some great runs second half.
All in all a good point against a decent side.
Frisnit Frisnit!!
