Totally agree.

No point in waiting till end of the season.

It would give us time to look for a replacement and for them to judge what he or she needs.

Maybe someone who wouldn't be available until next season but given permission by his current club to look at his new club in readiness for a pre season re build.

Do we? I thought we didn't pay people on time this month and needed a bail out from a minor-shareholder!

If Derek is not going to be with us next season, then let him go now, but don't replace him just yet. Let McMahon & Roche take over as caretaker managers for the last few games. No cost to the club that way. Then take our time over a replacement.

Or, if Derek is going to be here next season, get him to sign a contract now, and start planning for League Two.

Club statement said we had had a “significant 6 figure investment” into the club , can’t have spent that already !. A bit of that would be well worth sacking jimmy crankie off surely

I can’t watch today, thankfully. It seems from the comments on here that nothing has changed and our stubborn manager is intent on taking us back to League 2. It will be a blessing when it is all over, the last few weeks have been painful.
