So a front three of Mayor, Crowley & Weir, with Stockton strolling around, breaking in to a jog if he feels a bit nippy then?

Adam Mayor is a big plus. I wouldn't say I like putting players down, but Donald Love should have been replaced with Ryan Cooney; I am more convinced after watching the TV highlights. Dynel Sime,
for me offers little; glad Delaney starts.

Whose watching on iFollow today, or, more to the point, anyone not watching?
No point posting how the game is going if everyone is watching!
Brights start. Good break and a smart shot from Love, well blocked for a corner.

I thought he had a good game on Friday. He's had a decent shot, well blocked already. I'm a Cooney fan, but we don't know if Cooney is fully fit again, and at the moment, I think Love's recent performances don't deserve him being dropped.

He made a few more mistakes that defenders should not have for me. Watching the TV highlights Saturday night highlighted he doesn't close players down or at least the angle to make it difficult. Maybe it's the old-school defending I was coached all them years ago I wasn't aware of the length of Cooney's injury??

If he was playing as a traditional right back I'd agree, but as a wing-back, he's getting forward a great deal.
Cooney wasn't even on the bench for a few games. I don't know what the injury was, or how fit he now is?
Playing really well, but Portsmouth have had the clearest attempt. Stockton with about four shots on target in the first twenty minutes.

Love gets so much stick but his performances recently have been really good.

Good first half. If we had Stockton from last season, we'd be winning, but unfortunately, we don't. We've had more shots that Portsmouth.
Obviously, a draw is no good to us, which is a shame, because otherwise, this would be looking good. A bit more, and we could get something, and other scores are broadly going our way.

Portsmouth fans having the craic with Love as he was taking a throw in, both fans & Love laughing at something.

Let's wipe the smiles off their faces by scoring! We are competing well, but we tend to be too slow getting out when we break down an attack. We have to hold the ball up, and their defence are back in place.
COME ON YOU MORECAMBE REDS.

I put Portsmouth commentary on for the last few minutes. Managed about three minutes before coming back to Dave Salmon! Their commentary is awful! Clear foul, "let's just say I didn't see it as a foul [by Portsmouth player]" Replay shows it was very clearly a foul! They reckon they have a devine right to be winning.

It's a good job I can type my congratulations as I have no voice left!
Well done lads. Portsmouth commentary very upset, they seem to think they had a divine right to win.
Well, hard luck.....

It's a great point, but points are no good to us anymore. If we'd played like this all season, we'd be comfortably mid-table. If Taylor hadn't blazed over from about eight yards, we'd have taken the lead and perhaps, all three points.
Still in with a slight hope, but time running out. In November, this is a great away point. In April...

'Expected goals' had Portsmouth at 0.69 a and us at 0.79 so we were most likely to score according to the stats. Ten attempts on goal.

Best away performance in as long as I can remember...although in fairness that's not saying much!
Taylor should have buried that at the end, tough on his left but had time to cushion it onto his right. Panicked, which I guess isn't surprising giving the length of time he's been out for.
In isolation a great result, but we need wins to have any slim hope.

We need to win at least 3 out of remaining 4 to have any chance. Great point but too late I'm afraid.

The fantastic save by Ripley in the 90+3 minute really saved our day. It would have been gutting to have lost at that stage.

Great result today but sadly it won't be enough we really need to win all our games now to have any chance of staying in league 1.
