What if...?

IF the EFL reject the current bid then JW is back to square one and any further bid will have to undergo the same EFL process and who knows how long that will take.

It is quite possible that any new bid would not be verified until mid June at the earliest by which time whoever is the manager will have very little time to assemble a playing squad that would be competitive in EFL2.

Am i being over dramatic or what but the prospect is frightening...... :?: :?: :?:

For me this situation is as much to do with the EFL as it is with JW and the current bidder....

Pure speculation, however I suspect this current process is being dragged out due to legal issues. If its already been rejected but in the process of an appeal, its likely Johal has implemented a gagging order on any any parties discussing the situation until the appeal has been concluded. This of course puts the BoD in an impossible position.

If the takeover is finally rejected and another more credible offer comes in, I can see the process taking a lot less time. That said, it's unlikely to be before the season starts but fans would probably give them the benefit of the doubt if they have a more obvious source of their finances.

IF that is the case then surely the BoD are able to at the very least able to confirm that they are unable to comment on the current situation due to a gagging order which to me sounds a very extreme position for Johal to adopt putting him at logger heads with the fans from Day1. Surely he would want fans to be on his side... :?: :?: :?:

I am not totally sure if we have a functioning Board of Directors.

Anybody know when the Mazuma deal runs out on the stadium?

Perhaps he's not bothered whether fans are on his side or not? It rather depends on his motives for wanting to buy the club at a much higher unrealistic price tag than other potential buyers which no one can argue isn't suspicious in itself!

Good question BW. I haven't seen any of Ben Sadler's notes being published lately either unless I have missed them.

The accounts for the year ended 31st May 2022 have to be filed at Companies House before 20th May and they will make interesting reading especially the Strategic Report.

Do you really think the accounts will be on time?

Most of the other companies have been late, in hands of receivers, face strike off action, in administration,in liquidation or dissolved

The sponsors would be daft to hand over a wedge of cash for Del and Rodders to say "thank you" for.
