Looks like The Express have started a petition to award Burrow and Sinfield with a knighthood for all their fund raising efforts for MND...

Interesting the bias in honours awarded to ex Public and Grammar school Rugby Union Players and the northern working class League players. Very disparate lists despite similar achievements both on and off the field.
Mind, that’s probably to do with the chip on my shoulder!!

I've never liked the 'honours system'. I don't understand awarding honours to someone who has just done their job and probably earned a good income doing it. That includes politicians, sports personalities, those in the entertainment business, "captains of industry", the judiciary, top civil servants and defence chiefs. etc. etc.
The list is endless.

Looking at the Boris’ list, I tend to agree. A 30 year old “special advisor” who has very little on her CV other than being just that, an advisor. A life peer? Joke.

Yes, but, isn't she the one who gave the middle finger to reporters when Johnson resigned? That level of support for the Liar-in-Chief needs to be rewarded.

At least Dorries didn't get put there. She was interviewed on TV the other day, after her flouncing resignation, and she said "I know nothing". Well, we could have told you that you useless waste of space!
