https://www.worldfootball.net/attendanc ... 22-2023/1/Only a couple of clubs with gates of circa 2000 for home games.
Average in EFL2 is circa 5000
Bradford highest with circa 17000
Carlisle circa 6000
Barrow 3500
Both Accy and ourselves could be in the 2000 /3000 figure....

The Tik Tok ground will boost that, they've already had 10,000+ in the National League and are about to build a new 5,500 seat stand

Things to factor into our average attendance next season:
(1) How the fixtures fall: i.e./ opening and final day games, Christmas and new year.
(2) Local derby's: 'The Bay Derby' V Barrow - the first to be played in front of a crowd in the Football League will draw a large away support. Accrington Stanley, Carlisle United (possibly) so not a lot of local games in comparison to previous seasons.
(3) Clubs that will bring a large following, dependent on fixture date: Bradford City, Wrexham.
(4) Form.
With a lot of southern teams in the division, and few local derby's the teams form is going to be key, as well as whether the club can retain any fans from the last two years. I think the improvement in the 'matchday experience' may benefit this.
PS.

It will be interesting to see if the town and local area get behind the Shrimps next season. There was a feel good factor for the last few games of the season and its a shame that negativity has since crept in. Lets hope fans stick with us and we can sell 2000+ season tickets and average over 3000.
I really hope the club can keep the early bird prices going beyond May as many will be waiting to see how things pan out with the ownership and/or signings before committing.

Regarding season tickets - I think its a shame that the club has not done the campaign/sales tracker again; with built in price drops when sales reach different points. This clearly worked in previous years. Interesting to know why they have opted not to do this for a third season.
Obviously there's a lot going on at the moment - just feels like we are not being proactive and slipping into old habits.

Agreed. If not a price drop, why not still keep pushing the numbers? Maybe a 'your club needs you' campaign or similar.
I noticed also they still have the board on Skerton advertising season tickets from £150. I know staff will be worried about the situation but we have more on the payroll than ever, so really there's no excuses.
