O/T Charity Auction

Can I put this on please, Keith?

My Daughter in law has a brain tumour & wants to raise as much money as possible for Brain Tumour Research, the charity. She has raised thousands over the past few years and, recently my son & wife did a 26 mile sponsored walk & raised a bob or 2!
I declined, saying I had a different idea!
I have acquired, on my recent trip to Tylerman TT races, various items, some signed, & also similar from the popular local beat combo Massive Wagons (they need to do a gig at Mazuma!!)
It's all listed here, got about 3 days to run, so, get yourselves some serious memorabilia/presents for loved ones, or someone else!

Good luck with the auction, and, more importantly, your daughter-in-law.

Is 'Brain Tumour Research', part of 'Brain Tumour Trust', which used to be 'Headway'? I may be getting my charities mixed up, but I think they were the same charity who supported our own, Gary Dullaghan.

To answer my own question, no they aren't. 'Brain Tumour Trust' is one part of 'Headway', while 'Brain Tumour Research' is part of 'United Brain Tumour Research'.

To be fair, while even though it wouldn't have been your daughter-in-law's choice, the money would still have gone to a good place.

I've shared this on a Facebook, TT group.

Thanks Keith, yes I think they're all for a good cause.
I tried to post on the TT '23/24 Friendface page, with an explanation, but they took it down, twice.
I posted a picture, which, so far, has had 555 "likes" with mention of the auction in the description, strangely they haven't taken that down!
