Good to have him back. Started to look useful with us just as he got injured.

If he's trained today he will probably already have a knock

I went to the shop today just as some of the players came out to go home in their cars.
Jordan Slew is a big guy and I think he may surprise us this season. I wonder if Mellon coming back means that Phillips isn't being loaned to us this season.

I’m a bit concerned about the quality of the forwards we’ve signed. Maybe Mellon will do ok at league 2 level but he wasn’t cut out for league 1 last season IMO and I’m not convinced he adds any of the attributes we are lacking - pace, strength, experience, goal scoring.
I hope we are still going to sign an experienced centre forward but I’m not sure we will.

I'd like to think we will bring in at least another striker and also some creative midfielders. These are no doubt the trickiest and most expensive to sign, so expect them to come in quite late as players and agents hold out for better money. The loanees will be key, just like last season.
