Club sale update?

Wish our excellent BoD would provide us with an update regarding the sale of OUR club as the lack of news is worrying.
No imminent sale or even interest is of concern and unless Jason lowers his demands OUR club is in limbo and will remain so for the immediate future.
If we struggle in EFL2 due to a lack of finances it will be solely down to Jason and Co being unprepared to lower their demands which is negative thinking on their part as the lower we go the less the value of OUR club. In fact the sale value could become less than when he purchased OUR club from PMg.....

Very unlikely they will know anything and won't discuss till something concrete happens

Wouldn’t mind them confirming whether Sarbjot Johal is still interested or whether Bond Group have moved on from him. You get the impression he’s probably out of the picture now but is that the case? And if so, are they talking to new buyers?

Well we aren't going to hear anything from the owners that's for sure
Since May I've gone from pessimistic to optimistic and back again.
But at least we still have DA and the makings of a team and we weren't sure about either of those not long ago.

Just wondering how as only a customer you think you have the right to demand to know what is going on with the sale of JASONS club. Do you pester the owners of Sainsbury’s or Asda or wherever you shop demanding to know if they are selling up their Lancaster/ Morecambe stores.
The whole situation has NOTHING to do with you or that matter any of us on here unless we own shares in the club.
You need to get real it’s not our club or never will be until if when we are invited to participate in a fan buy out which I would hope may happen in at least a percentage of the club in conjunction with the mysterious local consortium if that idea has some merit in reality or just fake news. Then it will be MY club if we participate in that scheme.
Now can you please shut up about OUR club it’s like a broken record.

A club of which RedRobo
IS a shareholder in, as am I myself (and not just £1 either).
Yes, we CAN ask the questions actually.
It will always be
OUR club and not some fly by nights little play thing.

Ok then as a shareholder you will have better access to the board than we customers have. Tell me why then he asked the question on a fan zone site ( on more than one occasion) and not direct a letter or see the board directly and if he wishes to post the reply on the site so us mere customers can see it.
Is that not more a business like approach to take.
Also then maybe he should start writing MY club then not OUR as thousands do not have shares.

"OUR" club relates and refers to the WHOLE supporter base of Morecambe FC, be they shareholders or not (which is irrelevant because a supporter is a supporter).
But, of course, you knew that anyway didn't you.

Not sure what Redrobo has said to receive such a verbal kicking! (on this occasion anyway).
We'd all like some kind of up date on the future of OUR club.

When I saw your user name, I thought twice about approving it. Beginning to think my initial instinct was correct. I have frequently disagreed with Redrobo (and let him know!) but on this, I agree entirely. The very existence of
OUR club is at stake here. It is not unreasonable to ask WTF is going on?
If all you are going to do is troll, you'll find it is better on the Facebook pages.

Or previous SVer who hasn't been on here for a while? Whoever it is I agree that, .whilst the club might not legally belong to us, it belongs to us in spirit and will remain OUR club.

Our club is currently stagnating- relegated from League 1, losing some of our better players, struggling to recruit players and after Saturday's friendly result, likely to be in a relegation struggle this season. We need some clarity about our future because if the present stagnation continues we are in danger of losing all the progress we have made. I still think we and the Shrimps Trust need to be more active and publicise the difficulties we are enduring and capture some news headlines with a protest walk. We need Bond Investments to have a realistic valuation of our club and forget the silly money reported to have been offered by the previous would be buyer. If possible we need a local consortium to buy us. Our very future as a club is at stake. Action please!

I don't see any harm in asking the question, after all we probably are all season ticket holders and loyal supporters of our club.. I think we are all a little worried about the future of our club .

Where would a club be if it didn't have any fans?

5 months later and I finally get a login but not my original username for whom the email address is long gone. I used to enjoy a good argument but I'm not Argumentative.
Unfortunately for some on here, for good reason, I'm back
and I'll be at some home games
