Not in the squad tonight. Very odd and even more so given he did the pre match press conference yesterday. Pray to the lord IF he is injured. He's back for Saturday.

Depends what you call a huge fee. It would have to be 6 figures.

Beyond Radio commentator says Adam is being rested ahead of Saturday vs Mansfield. Hopefully that's all it is!

Hope that's right. We don't want Jason doing his golden fleece act again!

I'd be gutted if he's sold, he's such a talent and he is only going to improve.. I'm hoping he's just being rested for Saturday.

I agree - he will be sold one day, but hopefully not until the end of this season at the earliest. Great talent, who already has a lot of experience for a young player. Hard to believe that he is still only 18. I think he has made 20 starts and 37 total appearances - mostly in League One; not many his age can say that. He's a nailed on starter for me in League Two, and will only get better. I am sure he'll already be on a lot of clubs radars higher up the pyramid - I just hope when the time comes for Adam to move on to progress his career, that the club benefits from this. My main concern is that the cockney twats that own us will sell at the drop of a hat to pay the hotdog bill.

1000% in agreement with RRW....not sure about the description of Jason and co
but they will be out for a fast buck.....wonder if our Indian chappy is part of the Bond Group Family and has been for some time.... and it's been a bit of a game for him / them in the hope that someone would come in and scupper his bid..thereby increasing the club's value:x
Hopefully if it was all a game then it has failed miserably but in the process OUR club and DA in particular has been made to suffer....B*STARDS

Genuine question, as I don't know...
Can the pawn brokers force us to sell an asset and/or take a dividend from it, if they are not on the Board of Directors? Wouldn't they need the Directors to approve both? No doubt they could sack the board and appoint their own 'yes men' if they so wanted, but I don't know what actual power they currently have?

Doesn’t Adams contract only run until the end of this season? Or am I mistaken?

That’s good news. Hopefully we’ll keep him for the full season and then perhaps cash in summer 2024.

And the lad may be ready for a step up by then as well.

I herd a rumour a fortnight ago he will be gone before the transfer window shuts. His dad told my mate he’s not happy with his pay at Morecambe. A talent in the making, he has bulked up as well!! He would do well for us, so if not a league one side coming in for him, I don’t know if it will do him good. He has to go to a side where he plays. Perhaps the January transfer window would be better for us. If the money is right and we use it the right way, should we stop him going? His contract runs UNTILL 2025! Perhaps pay the lad a bit more if we want to keep him. We wait and see.

Well I truly hope they have upgraded his pay as according to sources he was on £180 a week when he was 17

he signed that new deal so it prob went up but I would think he is still one of our cheaper wages. The problem then is if he leaves it doesn't really free up the wage bill so any fee we get for him will have to go to wages for new players.

The other problem is that we need him this season to help stay above relegation. By next summer our ownership problems MAY have been resolved.

Why does everyone think we are going to get relegated? I think we are up for promotion this year, just take a look at our players + coach.
We have derek adams tier 1 of league two coaches. Can do loads with a below average squad as seen in our promotion season.
Our players are not bad, none of the starting positions have bad players. We have adam mayor, eli king, mellon, rawson, bedeau are studs, above average league 2.
Bloxham has shown to be very effective in the matches hes played
mckiernan davenport senior songoo all very solid
Only question marks donald love and stuart moore, love started for sunderland before, he has it in him. We are fine this season and think have a good shot to get promoted. Our ownership issues do not affect the quality by the players on the field

Are we getting back to just finishing 3rd bottom and staying in the league and being happy again??

I think we'll be well clear of relegation but it only takes one or two injuries/suspensions and with the size of squad it could be dangerous. Also, until the money side of things (ownership) are sorted I don't think we would be ready to take on the trials of League one again. That does not mean that a play off spot would not be welcome
