Bratford's bench

Bratford had 7 non playing staff on their bench made up of backroom staff and management in comparison to our 4 possibly 5.

Maybe time that we had a look at bringing some more experience on the bench to assist DA on match days and on the training field... :?: :?: :?:

;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

I would prefer to see that money used towards the playing budget as it is now

Could be wishful thinking on my part but i wonder if the visit of the owner on Tuesday to discuss so we are told the finances of our club have seen an increase in DA's budget.....which could be reflected this coming week in additions both on and off the field..... ;)

Based on the quality of the Bradford squad that they fielded on Saturday, I'd say that they have got the balance wrong... and perhaps need to spend less money on coaches (including those with big names.... too many cooks/lost messages) and more of it on the pitch - that would be my takewasy/observation.

That was the weakest/poorest Bradford team I have ever seen come to Morecambe. Instead of chanting "Derek Adams, your football is shit" towards the King on Saturday, City fans should be looking more at their own failings - which have been evident before and after Adams was their manager. For a club with so much potential and support, something is clearly wrong at their club. Derek Adams has assembled our current squad on a shoestring budget using the loan market and free transfers, bringing this together late into the transfer window - yet we were comfortable winners.

I never at any time on Saturday felt that Bradford would score a goal and there's not many home games when I think that !

The Bradford centre forward Andy Cook was in the pockets of our central defenders all afternoon and had no movement to compare with our number 9. I think Bradford gave Cook a 3 year contract which sounds like a waste of money to me.

I suspect like a number of clubs, they took us too lightly and didn't expect us to play like we did based purely on the budget that DA has to operate with.

Once they realized that we wouldn't be a push over they couldn't adapt and as a result got what they deserved.

I think a number of other clubs players will have a similar approach of...'it's only little old Morecambe with no money to buy quality'.....bollocks.... :!: :!: :!:

Their fans seem to be part of the problem rather than the solution. They started booing their own team after 28 minutes due to going a goal down and never really got behind their team after that.

Compare that to Portsmouth last season - also a big club who would expect to beat Morecambe but their fans continued to vocally support their team after they went a goal down. And they got back into the game after that… there’s a lesson in there somewhere for Bradfords fans.
