Rawson and Slew

What a nice problem to have when Rawson returns after the superb debut performance of Connolly yesterday.

What will DA's defensive line up be :?: :?: :?:

Will we see a back 3 or will their be a casualty....possibly Bedeau or even Love who at times was terrible again in his distribution.

Can anybody recall what decade it was when Slew last scored a goal...

The King said after the match that Connolly had "given Rawson a problem" which suggests Farrend won't automatically get back in.

I thought Love had a good game yesterday , certainly doesn't deserve a few Morecambe fans in the home end booing when his name was read out at the start.

Slew is proving very useful as a late substitute. Should have scored but as the pundits say , at least he got into a good position to miss and it didn't affect the result , only the scoreline.

Not sure why you needed to dig out one of our own players after another home win? Slew is doing what is asked of him and is a useful member of the squad. He should have scored yesterday but the Keeper did very well to get back and save it. It was probably an empty net when Jordan looked up so he hit the target but the keeper recovered really well.

Makes me laugh when so called fans BOO their own players (Love)

Slew and Love are both MORECAMBE FC players and should be treated as such

I thought Donald Love had one of his better games for us yesterday.

I am not especially a fan of Donald Love but I agree he had a decent game yesterday.

Morecambe have had plenty of right backs worse than Love. Remember Jim Harvey signing Chris Lane from Southport. He got a £10,000 signing on fee from MFC and bigger wages in real terms than our players are on now.

He was useless and we had to pay him to terminate his contract.

Donald has been one of our better players this season and has been impressive as captain of a team full of young lads.

And Lane regrets signing for Morecambe :

One of our regrets was Chris Lane signing for Morecambe , so at least we agree with him on that !

I have a feeling we signed the overweight Andy Gouck at the same time.
