With Ged Brannan's appointment what does this mean with regards to John Mc who is (or was :?: ) the Assistant Manager... :?: :?: :?:

I was expecting an additional member of the managerial team to have been Andy Kiwomy who DA had alongside him at Bradford and who was at the Bradford game (despite being no longer part of that set up) and who was interviewed by Quinny before the game following DA introducing him to Quinny.

Also was Drummy not responsible for overseeing the Development / Progression of Academy players into the first team squad... :?: :?: :?:

However welcome to OUR. Hope you enjoy your time with us.... :D :D :D

Left Stanley at the end of last season when they closed their U21 squad of which he was the manager. Well respected and popular figure at the Crown Ground and they reckon we are lucky to have got him on board.

Ged isn't mentioned as being the Assistant Manager. He is first team coach with some other responsibilities regarding academy players etc etc.

It looks like a new position and the hopeful side of me wonders if there is a new ownership in sight enabling this expenditure increase.

Not sure if others have noticed but in home games to date there has been at least 7 manager and back room staff on the opposition front bench in addition to the subs.

Our management team bench comprises of circa 5 so this latest addition is most welcome as it will take some pressure of our manager which can only be a good thing going forward.

:)

Looks like Andy Holt is slashing costs at Accrington.

Great news that Derek has been able to add to his coaching staff with such a highly rated coach.

Ged came on for us in the play off final on 86 minutes… I’m pretty sure that qualifies him as a Wembley hero ;)
