Exactly! They've got so few international call ups that their game is still on!

In a way our international loan players getting squad time but not playing is good for us. No risk of injury and I believe we still get compensation for the days they are attached to the squad.

It doesn't really feel like the season has started to the likes of me out in deepest agricultural West Lancashire.
Surely something can be done to make sure that these minor international fixtures have a minimum impact on our traditional Saturday afternoon 1500 kick-offs. It's bad enough with all this stoppage time being added, for anyone wanting to catch the 1731 train from Morecambe [that can include hundreds of travelling away fans].
For me, and possibly many, Tuesday night games are good for i-follow only.

Quite boring too following the scores online when all 11 fixtures aren't being played together.
Another glass of the red stuff?
