Puncture on M40 earlier. Hope the lads can make it to the game.
Such a shame after all the effort they put in to get to games :(

Just hope that the bus is registered with one of the recognized breakdown companies otherwise it could be a long wait for an unregistered company to attend.

I'm with Green Flag and although I could do without the cost the knowledge in knowing that either myself or wife break down then they will get us sorted ASAP.

Is the bus one of Pye's vehicles if so they should be covered..... :?: :?: :?:

On Facebook, it's been said they expect to arrive at the ground at 3:20pm.

So how did that work out then?

Just hope that the club can find some way to offer the fans some way of acknowledging their continued dedication to their ( and our) club.

Maybe the use of one of the sponsors boxes at a forthcoming game with free food and a few beers for their trouble.

Those that could make it got an all inclusive box last night.
Fair play to the Club for doing this, would have been nice for the transport owners to chuck in an orange juice

Not sure it was the club per se, the social media article advised that it this was a result of kind generosity of a club sponsor. Regardless, well done to whoever saw the bad luck that travelling away supporters encountered last Saturday and felt empathetic enough to host these supporters - particularly Terrys Travel who spent the night in a service station.

The reason why I think this would have been a great gesture had it been offered by the club, who had failed to sell hospitality anyway, was because despite what happened the people that were impacted by these unfortunate events will no doubt still be there at the next away game - and given the choice would have done exactly the same again. We took great support to Sutton - that needs to be encouraged.

Good idea anyway - wonder who thought of it ;)

Were there any kids on the bus, I couldn't imagine spending a night in a services with my lad.
