I wish someone would tell Dave Salmon, there is enough wind and other ambient background noise, so he doesn't have to do a little cough/throat clearance every twenty seconds, during the two minutes silences at the ground.

Lovely play to build up to Davenport, but he shot narrowly over!

Great twisting and turning by Bloxham, who goes past the player, only to be cynically taken out. Free-kick, but no yellow card. Yet one of Love's yellow cards earlier in the season, was due to taking a quick throw in, with the wrong ball???

For goodness sake! Mellon pulled backwards in the area, clearly a penalty! Dreadful decision to ignore it, again!

Bright start by us!

Yet another clear foul, not given.

What odds, he gives a really soft penalty to Wimbledon at some point?

Dave Salmon update on Ely King, he's back at the club and had a "vigorous workout" on the pitch pre-match, so that's good news!

Wimbledon head very narrowly over the bar! Probably the clearest opportunity so far.

Don't know how Wimbledon aren't winning! Amazing clearance off the line by Senior. This has been a half of two quarters! We were well on top for the first twenty minutes, but it has been all Wimbledon for the next twenty! We need to get back on top.

Everyone on both sides appealing a penalty but somehow we still manage to score? Fantastic.

2-0!!!

Own goal I think? Looked like Senior was fouled, ref didn't give it, but the keeper thrashed the ball against a defender [I think] and it ricocheted in to the goal! :D :D :D

Listening to the away commentary for the second half...

"We're still in October, so weeks away from Christmas, but Wimbledon have come to Morecambe bearing gifts".

Even the Wimbledon commentary think their player is lucky to only have a yellow card rather than a straight red.

Penalty! Same defender who was fortunate to only get a yellow card gave away the penalty, fortunate not to get a second yellow!

Mellon!!! 3-0!!!

Wimbledon almost scored a few minutes ago, then on pretty much their next attack, they score a nice goal from the edge of the area. We've gone to pieces in the last few minutes.

Wimbledon battering us now! Should really be 3-2 but somehow we repelled them. Lads literally throwing bodies in the way.

Stokes limped off, Melbourne on. Hope it isn't serious. He played well.
Smith with an easy save, but more pressure from 'dons. We need to get some passes going again.

Mellon hat-trick!!!

Great play from Slew, threaded Melbourne in for a one-on-one. Keeper saved well, but the ball fell to Mellon who steadied himself before burying it! 4-1

Fabulous stuff, but can Burnley recall Mellon in January if they want to?

I knew we'd lose that one

The trouble with all this winning lark is that if we are not very careful we'll find ourselves back in League one.
