Yes , I knew on Saturday , I received a letter from Barclays entitled "We're changing how we support you with your banking" !!!

Since they closed Morecambe and Carnforth I have managed without the ordeal of travelling to Lancaster and paying to park etc etc. I bank cheques at any post office which is easy enough.

Exactly. NatWest are also closing branches and using the Post Office is just as easy as walking into a Bank's branch. Milnthorpe has no bank branches anymore so locals use their local Post Office which in my case is Storth and is only a few minutes away and is far more convenient. Haven't heard of many if any locals complaining.

No complaints.....possibly because the people that rely most on visits to banks are also the ones who don't use computers. Wait until the lights go out.
