I'm really scratching my head on this one. I cannot remember anything really that bad happening that should result in a fine. A few words exchanged and a gathering of players but nothing more than that.

It should be possible to look at the IFollow of the entire match to fast forward it to this incident. I can't remember anything worthy of a £2,000 fine !

Haven't spoken to anyone yet who can remember anything about it.
A question for tomorrow night?

Unless something else further went on down the tunnel, out of view from camera's etc but infront of the officials who have reported it?

I remember a bit of a fraquarce in the second half in front of the home fans in the Main Stand. A Sutton player gave another rash challenge on Jordan Slew, who'd just come on, which Chris Stokes and others remonstrated about, as players often do after a bad and repeated tackles. There was even a raised hand from a Sutton player on a Morecambe player in what followed that I shouted he should be sent off for that. The referee was slow to deal with the incident, but after rightly giving Morecambe the free-kick, he showed a yellow card to the Sutton player for the initial tackle, and then surprisingly also a yellow to Chris Stokes, presumably for something he said or reacting to the situation. Hardly a fining incident, but that's what the FA rules started with at the beginning of the season. Very unjust on Morecambe I'd say, and certainly more inconsistency!

If that is the incident it cannot be worth a 2k fine!
This from a ref that couldn't count ten yards for a freekick from the edge of the box.

The club must appeal against that surely!

I remember one of our lads being shoved in the throat by one of their lads and being booked. I thought it was a red card at the time and still do looking at the clip.
