Now the wages have been paid we could do with the embargo been lifted

At least this would give Ged or new manager bit of time to get next year's squad sorted

Sorry GB but I really do take exception to your claim on te latest Accy Interview where you claim that you did not get paid.

The contracted date for all staff tone paid was Sunday 28th April.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you got paid on Monday 29th which contradicts your claim aboutnon payment.

Many workers have their wages paid on a Monday as payment over a weekend is not feasible.
:( :( :(

Your post contradicts itself!

Contracted date is 28th. Did they get paid on their contracted date? No, they got paid late. "Late" is binary, it either is, or isn't. One day late is still late. Many people have mortgages etc that go out on the same day as they get paid, so the payments may not have been covered, incurring costs etc.

Suggest you listen to GB's interview on the Accy site. He says that he didn't receive his wage.No mention of it being in his account of the 29th.

For someone unfamiliar with what has gone on they would automatically assume that he had not been paid.

Had he said that he had been paid a day late than the contracted date then no problem.

BUT to simply imply that he had NOT been paid is not correct.

I don't think Ged's said it again as the Guardian report refers to his Accrington interview.

Just to make sure it’s in the bank on Tuesday because money won’t move over a bank holiday weekend. Lots of companies work this way

Surely this can only be seen as positive news.

It might suggest that no sale is coming soon and we will have the same low budget as last year.
