Nice ground... Went there 29 years ago when it was a year old, for a concert (REM with The Beautiful South as support), so would be nice to go back to watch a kick about!

Now that's a line up. Monster tour?
A Paul Heaton gig is still a great night out.

Yes, and just Bill Berry missing which isn't bad, considering the bad luck they had with illness that summer! Setlist: https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/rem/1995/alfred-mcalpine-stadium-huddersfield-england-3d691d3.html

It was originally supposed to be a youthful Oasis supporting but they decided that completing their second album was of greater importance so, to compensate, Paul Heaton & Co treated us to a superb rendition of "Some Might Say"! 8-)

I was actually a steward at the McAlpine stadium 23 years ago. Remember trying to stop the mad Pompy fan from banging his bell on a hand rail and also Huddersfield fans getting on the pitch with chicken wire fencing when they got relegated. Lovely ground but lacking in atmosphere.

Our last three League Cup draws have been away from home.

Home to Newport: FA Cup
Away to Buxton: FA Cup
Away to Spurs: FA Cup
Home Stoke: League Cup
Away Rotherham: League Cup
Away to Sheffield Wednesday: FA Cup
Away MK Dons: League Cup
Away Rotherham: League Cup
Away to Lincoln City: FA Cup
Away to Wycombe: FA Cup
Away to Swansea: FA Cup

Likelihood of six FA Cup away games, in succession, is 1/64
Likelihood of seven FA & League cup draws away, in succession, is 1/128

The odds of being away in the next draw is 50:50
Like poor refereeing decisions, these things are supposed to balance out...

Now six FA Cup and four League Cup draws away from home.

Away Rotherham: League Cup
Away to Sheffield Wednesday: FA Cup
Away MK Dons: League Cup
Away Rotherham: League Cup
Away to Lincoln City: FA Cup
Away to Wycombe: FA Cup
Away to Swansea: FA Cup
Away Huddersfield: League Cup

Eight away draws on the trot in the two biggest cup competitions.

We've got more chance of a new owner than a home draw!

I hope I won't be adding to this list tomorrow in the FA Cup.

Chances of nine successive away draws, 1/526.
Chances of being away tomorrow, 1/2

"A home tie for Grimsby, who had been drawn away in their last five ties"

Err... Only five? P'ah!
