The Shrimps Trust has also found its voice and has good communication with the Directors which is a positive. We do have a clown for an owner but we have very good people on the Board. Not only are they very good people, they are Morecambe fans doing it for the love of the club.
We have a budget, we have the King back and we had over 30 players for the first day of training. Just because the signings haven't been announced doesn't mean that players haven't signed including some familar faces.
You are right in what you say about the board, we would probably be in a worse position without them. The stick I and others give is only because we are also fans.
I am relatively new in coming to support the Club, but I have never got as emotionally involved with a Club. The Irons will always be my first team, but I have not seen them live now for about six years and I love match-day, live football with all it brings has always been my thing.
I have really bought into supporting Morecambe for a number of years now. I hold a season ticket and regularly go into hospitality and I really enjoy it, I have made some good friends and long may it continue.
I understand why feeling are high and I have sting opinions but in the end I want Morecambe to come through their current situation? That I am aghast at how the ownership treats it and therefore I JUST WANT SOME BASIC INFORMATION, not all the ins and outs that will come out in time at the right time, to align my fears.
I do hope DA plays some of those guys who are training with us and takes a look at them in a game situation today, rather than putting a whole team of youngsters out, the season is approaching fast.
