Is it coming home? Predictions ...

Underwhelming but in the final, surely everyone backs them now. I'm going for a 2-1 win, Kane and Bellingham.

Same starting 11 as the semi but think he'll unleash Gordon properly for the first time in the second half.

Say what you want, a bit like people do with Derek, but Southgate has certainly proved his worth. Rode his luck, yes. But they'll be a statue at Wembley if we win tonight.

About time our pathetic attitude to sport portrayed through the media is silenced. I've lived in three countries and never have I seen such a negative reaction to a national representation.

Most of the tournament has been like watching paint dry.

Spain have been the best team technically and the most entertaining.

England have disappointed me so often in the past and I fear tonight may be another let-down.

Yes, I see what you mean Relapsed Shrimp! '
"Not bothered either way" ....."England have disappointed me so many times and expect they will again tonight"

How can your national team disappoint you by reaching the Euro's final? Southgate IS a bit defensive...he was a defender so that's his mindset but he has transformed a shambles of a team (Big Sam and before)into a team that gets to the latter stages of the world cup and the final of the Euro's twice. Before you say look at the talent he's got at his disposal remember that the other England teams had plenty of talent Gazza, Rooney, Gerrard etc but the only manager who could blend the team together was Terry Venables.

I agree that so far the only time they were entertaining was the first half against Switzerland but what do we as Morecambe supporters want from Derek??? He is not going to give us entertaining, free flowing football but he might just get us promoted again.....and we'll all be overjoyed.

Looking forward to it. Spain have been excellent and probably deserve to win, but England have been steadily improving and could do it. Hope it is a good game (& we win!)

Spain 3 v 1 England

I really can't get excited about it just doesn't seem the same nowadays compared to 96 and the early 2000s.

Got what we deserved. Those subs should have been made at half time and Spain stepped it up straight away in the 2nd half.

It was great to see the club so busy tonight with lots of families watching the game in a good atmosphere. The only let down for me was the fact every table with the best views of the screen were reserved for super fans and staff members. Nobody else was given the option of reserving seats which stinks a bit of elitism again. That aside, good effort by the club and some money in the coffers.

How did they define a "super fan" ?

Did they have to be members of the "Round-Up Gang"

It was advertised as "first come first served" with the doors opening at 1830. Turns out that was just for the rest of us and not the select few.

It was a very good night though and I wish the club was more positive towards doing more things like that. It's a great facility and should be used more for fans of the club.

So were the select few already in position when you arrived ? Was I right in them being members of the "Round-up Gang" ?
