EFL2 teams to watch out for

A lot of clubs have invested heavily in new players which on paper suggests they could be a force to reckon with this coming season.

For me there are a couple who stand out namely Carlisle and Barrow both of whom appear on paper to have very good and competitive squads for the forthcoming season.

There are others but the two named above are our closest rivals who I expect to do well this season.

I think we will surprise a few clubs but a position in mid table for me would be excellent considering the influx of new players into the club and the financial constraints that DA has to work within.

Hopefully a sale will go through in the near future BUT I fear that the current one on the table will not meet with EFL approval leaving Jason and Co with a dilemma....

Other SVs will have their own thoughts no doubt.

;)

It's going to be really difficult to identify the 'top clubs' this season, I think it may be quite close throughout League Two, with no obvious runaway team, nor, any obvious whipping boys.

The 'big reputation' clubs should do well, so Doncaster, Bradford & Notts County up there, and MK Dons & Port Vale not far behind.

At the bottom, Harrogate & Grimsby, and if our soap-opera continues, probably us, with a couple of others battling it out.

I'll be quite happy with around 17th. But, Derek has worked magic before, and with a couple of astute loans, he may do it again.

But really, the best news we can have for next season, is a new owner, who has the club at their heart.

That’s what I’ve heard that from some other fans as well, that a bid from those who failed before will do so again, or is that just wishful thinking on their behalf.

If they are trying again to buy the Club, is it with Momi resigning from Sarb Capital on the 11th July, would it be the case that may affect any bid from them with how the EFL sees the bid?

I'd guess that it is Sarb &Co and yes that does leave J Nitwitingham with a dilemma. We can only hope that he finally realises that HIS preferred bidder is never going to get through and that he decides to go with the next in line.

MK Dons, Port Vale, Gillingham, Donny and Carlisle have all recruited better than us, I reckon.

We should be clear of the lower reaches but I’m struggling to see us in the play offs as it stands.

You lot’ll be fine, assuming Adams stays around.
