I do wish that we'd stop going on about non payment of wages.

The payments did appear in staff and players accounts only 24 hours late.

The way that Darren Clifford goes on about it is simply not true.

My pension is payable on the 1st of every moth. if that falls on a weekend it's in my account on the Monday.....

Stop painting a picture that payment was overly late.....it simply wasn't.....

Most companies pay it the working day before, only the government seem to carry it forward with any entitlement. If you are paid monthly and that's stipulated in you're contract, this is what an organisation must do

Mine is paid the working day before the actual date due if the latter is a weekend or public holiday.
