O/T Ethernet cabling contractor

Does anyone know a good reliable and reasonably-priced contractor in the Morecambe and Lancaster area who would install some ethernet cabling in my house - from the Broadband Router to other rooms in the house?

It doesn't seem to fall under the heading of a normal IT guy (who fixes your computer) or a TV aeriel installer type guy.

Any recommendations?

Can't help with the actual question, but do you actually need ethernet connections? Have you considered a mesh? Something like:

I've got a TP Link system, primary router on the middle floor with physically connected unit, then another unit on top floor & ground floor, which gives a steady speed throughout the house. Obviously, ethernet is going to be best, but for the amount of work, cost etcetera, a mesh may be a better way forwards? Another alternative would be powerline adaptors?

Not recommending those specific products, my mesh is a few years old now, so not sure what is best now, but as a starting point, if not already considered.

Either a mesh setup or combination of Powerlink & wifi extenders are likely to be better than not just the cost of the cabling but the disruption it'll cause to install cabling.

I use an ethernet-over-mains adapter to provide wifi in the garden plus a wifi repeater/extender to improve connectivity in parts of the house. If you have devices that aren't wifi enabled, my TP-Link repeater/extender has an ethernet socket so you can use hard wired devices over wifi.

With a wifi extender, some of them give you the option of extending the current wifi or provide another wifi connection i.e. different SSID. Handy if, for example, you're running a business and want the visitor wifi different to the main wifi.
