Just imagine the last league game of the season. Bournemouth need a win to stay in the football league and we need a win to make the last play off spot. Now that would be some ending to a season which seemed finished for us about 6 weeks ago!

If bournemouth lose at chester next weekend they will need to get something out of the last match against us even if they beat grimsby in between

hopefully they will be safe by the last game (or doomed) and not have anything left to play for. I did the BBC Predictor before and ended up with us going in to the last game of the season needing to win 7-0 for the last play off spot (and needing Chesterfield & Bradford to draw, if either won, they got the last play off spot)!

Hope Bournemouth win their remaining games before they meet us, God forbid we beat them and Chester win and we help Chester stay up!!!!

Surely travelling wise it would be better if chester stayed up - bournemouth is a hellish trip especially on a tuesday night

Travelling wise, we'd be better off in the Northern Premier League! I'd rather Bournemouth than Chester to visit next season. Admittedly, a bank holiday weekend trip to Bournemouth would be nice!

It isn't just about how near they are for us, though - bear in mind Chester bring can bring 200-300 fans; Bournemouth may struggle to make double figures if they are to visit next season.

In that case you want Chester to be relegated & Carlisle as their replacement from League 1. They'd bring 500 or more.
