Rumour from a knowledgable source in Staffordshire is that Adam has signed a pre-contract with Port Vale.

Was that before or after Port Vale binned their manager? Cant see that any signings will be made until they have got another manager in place

If he had already signed before yesterday...might explain his absence form the team?

I note the rumour on the Port Vale board was started four hours before the thread on here .... perhaps the watching is being done the other way round!

I'd see if Vale want to swap for their right-back who played at Christie Park. He was excellent. I wonder if he's out of contract?

Oh there is so much I could say after speaking to certain people yesterday but I don't think it would be right to say on here.

However I don't think he has signed for vale yet.

Is it more a case of Sammy taking Adam with him?? Rumours are beginning to spread fast that Sammy could well be the next boss at Vale Park.

On the basis that Sammy let Yates go out on loan earlier this season and that we didn't have another fit right back this season, and that he can get one in the summer or play Parrish there, I'd suggest that those ideas are wide of the mark.

But if that was to happen it wouldn't surprise me. Nothing should ever surprise you in football.

So Sammy's going to leave a stable club, with a new ground on its way and a very supportive Chairman to go to a club that is within spitting distance of administration? Hmm...
