Shame they couldn't do the business but glad that we don't lose out on a local game next season.

Hope Gillingham win now...

Thought Shrewbury's keeper was completely out of order in the shootout, but the ref didn't appear to have the balls to do anything about it.

Good news for us as a club cos bury bring between 500 and 1000 fans which brings the club decent income

Not being biased in any way ;) but I now want the Gills to get through and beat the Shrews in the final. Forget the North, South divide for the moment, it's more money in our coffers if both Rochdale and the Shrews stay put!

and if the Gills go up it saves the club an overnight hotel stay.

Also they took 6 points off us :( :(

I too hope the Gills do it but if they do it will be the first time this season following a 7.0 hammering in September by the Shrews and a 2.2 draw back in Gillingham in March.

None of that matters not Shrew, in the 11 meetings with Exeter we've only beaten them once; the one that really mattered!

BBC says 3-1 aggregate; but also says that the 1st round match ended 0-0 :|

Stuart McCall stated that Bradford City would only be paying for 3 overnight away trips next season so he was certainly wanting Gillingham out!
Looks like they will be staying in Bournemouth, Aldershot and Dagenham but may have to juggle with Torquay and Gills

Shame for Bury having lost out by a goal to go up automatically and finish 9 points ahead of Shrews, then be 3 mins. away from Wembley playing 10 men and missing so many chances.

Andy Bishop can't have slept a wink last night
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

I thought Gillingham was one of the best teams we have played this season. Its a shame for Both Bury and Rochdale but good news for us in terms of income.

Both off them bring good numbers to Christie Park, particularly Bury who bring a large percentage off their home support and they really get behind their team, also they don't come on this forum banging on about how many they will be bringing, unlike a certain other team that we wont mention.
