.... according to Stephen Vaughan, who also confirms Ellison has gone to Rotherham.

Darlo thus will remain a League Club and Chester are confirmed as relegated with a 10 point deficit

Could Vaughan be the new person at Darlington?

I thought Vaughan had found a new buyer and had sold out to his mate the property development.

It's good that Darlo have found a buyer, but it does seem that the increasing trend is going to be more and more clubs hitting the wall at the lower level. It's sad when you see the likes of the big four clambering around for unimaginable money and the team just outside that about to join a european league by the back door, and yet clubs at our level could be saved with a premiership players monthly wage and yet half of them couldn't trap a bag of sand and can only kick with one foot.

The league and FA need to have an urgent look at this or the grass roots will be either decimated or back to amateur status very soon.

A couple of weeks wages of a Premier League player could save a fair few lower league clubs.

Puts it into perspective doesn't it?

Did Aspers tell you that?
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!
