I must shop in different places, as I had never heard of 'Bench'! Have they any local outlets, as matter of interest?

Well, I don't think Greenwoods stock Bench clothes, Mike! ;)

Seriously, the club shop stock a range of Bench gear as our chairman is the chief exec of Americana, who own the Bench brand.

Thanks John, that explains the link. Strange one though. Not a brand I have ever heard of, and speaking to others, nor had they! I must move in the wrong circles!

There stores seem to be in the bigger cities and shopping centers like the trafford centre.

They even have factory outlet stores at some places where there stuff is reduced to similar prices as the stuff in the club shop, the prices in the club shop for the Bench gear is very reasonable compared to the big stores.

I doubt they will be opening a store on Euston Road or in the Arndale

No wonder I had never heard of, or seen Bench. Having looked at the list of items above, I wouldn't have even considered any of them! Explains all.

i like the design of the new shirt but i have a slight query about the bench logo. it looks very wierd and why are the club trying to advertise this company:S local businesses are going under and surely the right thing to do would to do something like villa/barca and actually PAY to advertise a local company instead of a giant MNC? somewhere such as susans pies ( local to C.P, john martins or kennys fish and chips? ) all very local and would appreciate the custom and revenue potential? maybe this is a bit optimistic in this era of the " money first, community after " football.
anyway, just my point of view

Morecambe FC is also a business and Bench are a large club probably offering a very good deal.
