Car Travel to Forest

I can't get out of work until 4pm on Wednesday so will be driving down straight from the Uni and was wondering if anyone else needed a lift or if anyone had two spare seats in their car who were setting off about the same time.

Best places to park, are at the city hall, or even the "embankment" about a 5 min walk
