Top News maybe we will have a 20 year old as our SENIOR striker Should keep a few on their toes - we could have the youngest strike force in the League.... (waits to get bombed out)

Sounds a good prospect, described as a powerful lad who can lead the line well and has been playing at a higher level (Celtic teams and Eire Under 21s) - but it's always been in second or third string teams rather than one that's actually trying to do something in a proper league.

Now he's starting his career proper it might be that he really starts to show what he can do. If he turns out to be a good line-leader, it may open up a whole new possibility for Blinks as well.

One year deal? Maybe it's us just seeing how he goes and what his attitude is like. After that we could offer him an extension or, if he turns out to be a gem and others come sniffing, they'd have to pay us money for him anyway under the 'Under 24' rule, wouldn't they?

You would hope so but you can bet your bottom $$$$ Celtic have a sell on clause - the Irish influence is really taking hold now is'nt it - Top Man that Sammy Mac

So have we actually bought him or has the lad been released from Celtic and then signed for us? If its the later then I don't think he wll have a sell on clause in his contract, what would be the point when he is only on a one-year deal?

I think you'll find we've got our lot!

I'm reasonably happy with what we have acquired now with a mixture of experience and youth, however I was a little concerned at one point. Throw in an on form Twissy, Blinks, Stanners and not to forget the back 4 plus a mixture of new midfield boys and a returning Fraser and it all looks pretty good my friend!
Our reserves have something to live up to though..........league winners 2007/2008
