I second that...I wont say anything about Judas as this is a family site but I hope that Newby has a good game, I thought he was an outstanding player for us and I still dont know what he did to deserve the treatment he got.

They have just interviewed Grand

Great first half by Northwich

I thought they were playing at Altrincham did they sort their off field problems out?

Northwich giving a really good account of themselves, should be winning. I assume they are part-time, depends how long they can keep up the current temp. You'd expect the fitness levels of Charlton to be telling in the last 15 minutes.

Newby was a strong running forward when with us but really too lightweight then, and often with no real result for all that running.

Those were Conference days and things were different - defenders were more like brick walls.

May have misunderstood your post Mike (most probably knowing me  ) but Newby was with us only for 1 season, our first in the league and wasn't he our top goal scorer?

He came from Southport who were amazed that we took him on but for me proved them wrong. However agree too lightweight for the Conference and looks as though the same applies now.

I'd like to know the total club count for both Elam and Newbs...must be in the 20's? :o

Have Northwich been demoted again? I know they had some issues with the conference not accpeting the CVA that they came to with outstanding creditors.... not sure what its got to do with them. There was talk of them being relegated to the unibond premier, putting the Derby game with Witton Albion back on the cards.

...and which League they will be in?

"Chester’s appeal against the decision to place them in the Vodkat League was due to be heard by the FA Leagues Committee at Wembley today. But that meeting has been postponed and will now take place in week commencing June 14."
