What are they asking for?

"Certainly, as a football club with our operations we can't pay Sven the salary he would expect as one of the best coaches which is why a serious investor needs to come in and augment that £25-50million with a proper salary for Sven."

So they want £25-50 million of investment AND for them to pay Sven's wage :?:

Can only see this going one way I'm afraid.

A supposedly wealthy consortium approaching you to put up the funds to give the club a bankroll AND bring in Sven is one thing (and we now see how secure that was!).

Touting around, cap in hand, for someone to invest in a very ordinary League Two club, with the added commitment to providing millions each year to pay for Sven's salary is quite another.

Mr Trembling says there are two ways to go with this:

1 They attract someone prepared to pump in many millions over several years to pay for Sven and all his big-money players to push them up the divisions.

2 They attract someone prepared to put in a tenth of that (but still a few million) just to support an ordinary League Two club at the level it's at now, without Sven.

I reckon a third - that they attract no new serious, reliable investor, and that Sven leaves them with a legacy of big salary commitments and/or pay-offs - is more likely in the current climate.

Shame.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Nott's County what i don't understand is how there had the money to offer good long term contract's for player's like Kasper and Lee Hughes.

And how comes the football league don't put Nott's County in administation and dock them 10 point's and give them a chance to sort the finances out.

So many football teams are in debt and have winding orders and i fell like within next season or two more football clubs will be like this.

One point football needs a salary club.
