Good effort from the lads and I know its only the reserves but 2 goals conceded from distance again tonight, sick to death of it, we've got to start closing down.

Went down to watch, not a bad game.Thought drummy was m.o.m in centre of defence.Michael Howard steady at left back,Aaron Taylor got a good goal,he certainly knows where the back of the net is.Is Scott Davies injured?academy keeper in nets with another academy keeper on the bench.Or are we keeping him safe for saturday?Stanners went to hospital with suspected broken foot.

A number of players may have given Sammy a selection dilema for Saturday.
O'Carroll looked more than capable of giving Blinks a run for his money and for me should be given the shirt v Bury.
Michael Howard looked to be on his way back to being Mr Consistency.
Drummy did well in the centre of defence and would be in my midfield to start.
New boy Evans would certainly start giving the midfield that much needed drive with the confidence to have a pop from distance on the evidence of last night. BUT not sure if we can sign him at the moment due to the budget restrictions.
Mr T produced fleeting moments of vintage Twissy but maybe not enough to start. Certainly on the bench.
Stanners was getting involved until his injury.
Our 'enry' played with confidence and didn't do much wrong.
Adam Y looked Ok going forward but can't see him pushing Parrish for the right back birth, at the moment.

Excellent....just hope he'll be OK to give Sammy another option.
By the way, for those who didn't go last night (where were you? You missed a bloody good game!) both Sammy and Mark watched from the stands.
Tranmere had the experienced Suker and Greenaker in their line -up.

My first reaction to this game was 'playing football' and secondly, this is MORECAMBE.
I agree with the above comments, the game was fast and entertaining but I believe Drummond at the heart of the defence worked (give it a go ) and he showed class that he hasn't shown in the centre of midfield.
Most players gave food for thought for Sammy but the lack of tackles and challenges and this low morale body language of Twissy is dissappointing.
I do believe that Twissy would be heavily critisised for the performances but his history has defended him (and rightly so) BUT for me NOT a start or bench until he shows committment and desire to play. He backed out of challenges/tackles and still lets his head drop when things don't go his way.
Aaron Taylor again played well and as he knows where the goal is, takes oportunities and works hard I think he deserves a chance as does O'Carroll. Nice touches and holds up the ball as well and uses his body position to win freekicks regularly.
Smiles better!!

If stanlet had broken his foot Sammys chances of getting him off the wage bill would have vanished.
