It's got to be that daft mascot race hasn't it? The one that that bloody Oldham Owl always wins!
Just a guess, mind.

Are we going to chuck him/her off the top of the main stand during open the box and see if the cucking fat can land on all fours next to uncle ken?

I assume 'SR' stands for Sport Relief?
Good guess, but it's not for Sport Relief.
It is something more towards the end of the season and will be his tribute to Christie Park.

Going to cock his/her leg at each coner flag, then lead a giant conga to westgate after the final game?

How amazing would a conga be after the last game to Westgate. Of course it would have to go up to the York, some refreshements before the trip down by the railway line ( the 1 thats being extended to Sydney Central).
Now that would be on the National News espesh if everyone was dressed as Eric!!
You can do this,

Maybe the Battle of the Mascots2 :?:
Sunday 28th March at the Pro Star Shrewsbury.
Charity Mascot football match, not a race!! 4-5000 attendance expected £2 a ticket.
Battle of the Mascots1 took place in 2001 at the Gay Meadow.

Christie wasn't asked to play maybe it had something to do with this
