Apart from the other week when he could have done better with the free kick i think he's been one of the best keepers i've seen at christie park and we've had some good keepers. Not quite as good as Lewis but the games i've seen his shot stopping have been quality and we seem more confident now we know we have a keeper who is in great form. The games i've missed he's been even better from what i've heard. Now hopefully after the win aganist Oldham we can find some form in the league!!!

just imagine the first post with roche instead of howe, all these new players im so confused

Roche was absolutely outstanding last night - can't remember him making a single mistake. Even when Hughes, one on one with him , closed him down and he hit the post - good keeping. We could of been 3 or 4 down at half -time without some good stops.
