DC could be in the money?

DC could be in the money?

Postby Christies Child » Wed Jan 19, 2011 8:26 pm

According to a post on the Football Forum, Bury are to pay DC the remainder of his contract to enable him to get another club during the window. Hasn't had the best of times at Bury.

MFC legend but a striker with 9 goals in the last 4 years is not going to take us forward.

It depends which Green we are talking about, Danny will have made himself a nice few bob at all the clubs he has been at. He has been unlucky with injuries, and if he can get himself fit for a prolonged period I believe he still has something to offer somebody at this level.

so you are making out he as scored errrmm lets work this out on average 40 games a season x 4 = 160 so he as scored 9 goals in 160 odd games?

lets be right about this DC as been on the bench a lot of the time trying to settle in at them clubs and injurys on top of that

dont get me wrong he as never been prolific but we cant just go out and spalsh out big money on goal machines beggars cant be choosers

Come on the guy has got pure talent but why not get a center forward from the conference or conference north on the cheap.

maybe get a player like say a jordan connerton on loan maybe from crewe since he was local last season with lancaster???

dont know the exact maths dawsy but i think he scored about a goal every 9 games over the last 4 years in the FL, I am not being disrespectful to danny, but if we are going to start paying an extra wage for an extra striker...............

we already have strikers meeting these type of ratios

Month at a time, "earn yourself a contract!" - I'd be up for letting him have a crack at that.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Would be a good move that. If he can come in and does the job then give him a longer term contract if not we can let him go.
