So that makes him a free agent which enables him to sign for a club outside the transfer window, possibly worth a deal to the end of the season ?

Unless its a pay as you play, stay away. Lets face it, before THAT goal anyone would have swapped him for Matty Blinkhorn in our last conference season.

I would never describe the man who gave me, my friends and my family one of the most exciting moments in our entire lives - one that will live with us all for the rest of our days - in such a dismissive way.

Having said that, I too (as I said a week or so ago) wouldn't give him anything but a pay-as-you-play (or a week by week) deal. He does offer pace, something in which we are sadly lacking. And could, if he's injury-free, give us another dimension up front, even if only from the bench.

Then see how it goes.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Good shout Glenn

Always enjoyed watching Danny pulling defences apart and as you say his pace was his main attribute, I for one would like to see him back where he belongs

I too think that Glen's suggestion is a good one, but with the money from the Duffy sale, and the loaning out of a few players, I don't see why we couldn't take a gamble on him until the end of the season and see how things go. I don't think we'd lose a lot by playing it that way.

And even if he doesn't score at least he'll test the Assistant Referees' flag reflexes.

I'd rather see Hendrie get some more chances to shine. We know what Carlton can do, and unfortunately, in this league, it's not that much.
